AI Sidekick Playbooks
What It Is
Playbooks are guided AI workflows inside AI Sidekick. Instead of starting with a blank prompt, you can choose a feature area and launch a playbook designed for a specific job, like cleaning up tasks, planning your quarter, or drafting a Daily Log.
Why It Matters
AI is most useful when it helps you move faster inside real workflows. Playbooks reduce prompt friction, make AI easier to use, and help you get to a useful result faster.
Getting Started
To use Playbooks:
- Open AI from the bottom navigation.
- In AI Sidekick, tap one of the feature pills like Tasks, Goals & Projects, Notes, Habits & Vision, or Resources.
- Select the playbook you want to run.
- Follow the prompts. Some playbooks will ask a few questions before they act.
Key Concepts
- Feature pills - The main way to browse playbooks in AI Sidekick. Each pill groups related playbooks by feature area.
- Playbooks - Guided AI workflows for specific jobs, not generic chat prompts.
- Confirmation-first behavior - Many playbooks draft or recommend changes first, then wait for your approval before saving.
What You Can Do
Tasks
- Pick my Top 3 - Reviews your priorities and helps you choose the three highest-leverage tasks for today.
- Daily Brief - Gives you a practical view of what matters today.
- Groom my tasks - Helps clean up your task list, identify stale items, and improve focus.
Goals & Projects
- Plan my quarter - Helps you define focused goals and the projects that support them.
- Get me unstuck - Reviews current work and points to the highest-leverage next move.
- Project Help - Helps you think through a specific project and make progress faster.
Notes
- Daily Log - Helps you capture and reflect on the day.
- Plan Tomorrow - Helps you decide tomorrow today and draft your tomorrow note.
Habits & Vision
- Future Self Grid - Guides you through building or refining your Future Self Grid.
Resources
- Resource Review - Reviews your resources and helps you make better use of them.
- Clean up resources - Helps you reduce clutter, spot overlap, and organize resources more intentionally.
- Create resource - Helps you draft a new resource, either generally or for a specific project.
Tips
- Start with the feature pill, not the perfect prompt. Playbooks work best when you let the workflow guide the conversation.
- Use the most specific playbook available. If you want help with notes, use Notes playbooks instead of general chat.
- Confirm before saving. Many playbooks are designed to draft first and save after your approval.
Troubleshooting
- I do not see Playbooks. Make sure you are in the AI tab and signed into your account.
- A playbook asks follow-up questions. That is normal. Some playbooks need a bit of context before they can act well.
- I want to use AI without a playbook. You can still type a normal message in AI Sidekick and chat directly.
